Whether you call it marble, tie-dye, swirl, or galaxy, this is a fun, easy way to add an artistic touch to your candles. In this tutorial, we show you two marbling methods that add streaks of color directly to the candle wax through swirling and painting techniques.
With a touch of dye and a dash of effort, you transform a simple white candle into a stunning marble masterpiece!
Candle maker’s note: We recommend paraffin wax for this candle project. When trying it with soy wax, we found that the dye tends to bleed more and come out less defined. Because paraffin wax cools quickly, the dye bleeds less and looks more distinct in the wax.
