We had an incident earlier in the week where we caught a pig eating one of our meat birds and upon further inspection realized a few had bites taken out of them. Not wanting to deal with the cleaning of their wounds and them being two weeks away from butchering we decided to cull them to avoid them passing away from their injuries. I have never butchered before nor has my husband (he has butchered plenty of other animals) but this was a first time for us. I felt very strongly that I needed to step up and be accountable for our animals lives so I watched a lot of videos and did a lot of reading to get myself knowledgeable and prepared for it. This is that video.
