Dibond and ultraboard are both substrates that are designed for outdoor use. Dibond encases a PVS plastic with sheets of aluminum and is almost twice as expensive as ultraboard. Ultraboard is a smooth plastic sandwiching a dense foam core. When put to the resilience test, the dibond is much stronger; the ultraboard warps easily with applied pressure.
