Preparing an Ameri-Barra Vortec 4200 for a 1000 Mile Road Trip - Road to Midwest Drags 2022 - part 1
Today we begin our preparation for Midwest Drags 2022 by working on our Turbo Ameri-Barra Vortec 4200 DOHC VVT Inline 6 Trailblazer Engine powered 1981 Ford Fairmont Station Wagon. We go over several goals with the car such as upgrading the gas tank, replumbing part of the fuel system, and upgrading to our IGN1a Coils AKA Smart Coils. The goal is to increase the spark energy so we don't have spark breakup and promote smoother street driving with more stable fuel delivery.
