A huge whale shark, whose weight can reach about 20 tons and a length of 12 meters, was rescued by residents of the Indonesian province of Gorontalo, located on the island of Sulawesi. The seven-meter fish, the length of which was comparable to a dump truck, became entangled in nets placed near the shore. Local residents came to her aid. Together they freed the shark from its bonds and helped it swim away.
