Highlights of Liverpool's second match of the 1987/88 season - a trip to play Coventry City at Highfield Road in August 1987, with new signings John Barnes and Peter Beardsley cementing their places in the affections of the Liverpool fans.
Apologies for the loss of sound a couple of times during the video, and for the less than perfect picture quality. Hopefully the quality of the football - particularly in the second half - make up for this.
