Join Paul Hindmarsh as he explores the vast collection of rare and prototype instruments at the Yamaha Guitar Archive in Hamamatsu, Japan. Paul composed six short pieces as a musical tour of Yamaha’s unique guitar history.

Paul selected an Attitude Limited 10th Anniversary bass - released to commemorate the first decade of Billy Sheehan’s signature series in 2000 – for this power-chord driven track inspired by classic rock.

Next, for the rhythm part, Paul picked up a 1991 SG25 as it “seemed like an ideal power chord guitar.” This 25th-anniversary model was one of only 50 pieces produced.

Finally, for the lead guitar, Paul decided on a 2004 Pacifica prototype with a maple and mahogany body. With a custom Pacifica of his own, Paul felt this was “so comfortable, familiar, and versatile that I had to use it."

Paul recorded into Cubase recording software from Steinberg, using the Line 6 Sonic Port VX interface and Helix Native plugin.
