In early February, Japan was hit by a severe cold wave☃️. Hoping to see some beautiful snowy landscapes, I traveled to Nagano—a place I have visited several times before. Nagano’s scenery is always breathtaking, but it is especially stunning during snowy or rainy seasons, constantly inspiring me.
This time, I took a trip through Yamanouchi Town in Nagano Prefecture, starting from Yudanaka Station and visiting Shibu Onsen, Kakuma Onsen, and finally, Zenkoji Temple. I had to walk from Shibu Onsen to my accommodation in Kakuma Onsen, feeling both a bit anxious and deeply moved by the scenery😅.
The footage captures the charm of the hot spring towns and the vast snowy countryside. I was particularly drawn to the quiet, serene atmosphere of Kakuma Onsen at night. I hope you enjoy the video, accompanied by gentle and nostalgic LoFi music🎹🎶.
