The status bar has been one of the most difficult UI elements to control in NativeScript because it is so different on iOS and Android. Ok, mostly because it's so hard to figure out on iOS. In this NativeScript tutorial, we're rolling up our sleeves and getting into some native platform code through JavaScript to hide and show the status bar all while animating it!
