In this video looking at more of the best Starbound mods, we check out 5 mods introduced for Starbound 1.3 that give you new custom options for your mech design, concentrating on mods that contain at least one new body.

The 5 Starbound Mech mods in this video can all be downloaded from the Steam Workshop - links below - and offer new bodies, weapons, boosters and legs - and in one case, a craftable horn! Many of these mech mods are a work in progress so some care is needed, with some being craftable immediately, some requiring you to find blueprints and others needing you to use admin commands to spawn them in.

We look at the Avali Mech, which complements the Avali race mod and various associated mods; we check out the latest in the RV series of mods that allows you to turn the human RV into a mech (following the previous hoverbike/shuttlecraft variants); we look at a mech based on the Gundam Series; and we check out new custom bodies offered by the Portal-inspired Aperture mod the DB Industries mod.
