UNREAL ENGINE - Creating a Basic Grid Building System (not a tutorial but a workflow)
In this video I will create a basic grid restricted building system, this has all been made on the spot whilst recording.
I have made this video for two reasons.
1. to give an insight into my though process when building stuff
2. to share and idea that may be useful to many people.
Although this in not intended as a tutorial per say. you can follow along and make a somewhat basic grid style restricted building system. I used game such as Rust and Ark Survival Evolved as inspiration for this video.
I often pick out specific features from the games i player and attempt to recreate them in my own way within unreal engine. I think this way you can get and rough understanding of something should function before trying to make it yourself.
