To recover an accidentally closed timeline in Premiere Pro, open the Project Panel and toggle on the List View. Next, double-click the item with the green icon next to it.
If you are missing the Timeline Panel altogether, go to Window - Workspaces, and click on Reset to Saved Layout. Once that is done, locate the sequence in the Project Panel and open it.
