Compatible With Windows and Mac External Hard Drive
Here is the short video i have explained how one can format external hard drive or USB flash disk which can work with Macbook and windows laptop.
Generally when you for format any hdd on Macbook by default it will format it using mac os x journaled which will work on all macOS like Macbook Pro, Air, Imac, Mac Mini etc but the same Hard Disk will not be visible on Windows Laptop or desktop as windows support FAT, Exfat and NTFS hence if you want the HDD to work on both format it using FAT32 which is compatible in both Mac and Windows Operating System.
For this Video i have used Mac OS X 10.11 El- Capitan but yes it will work other MacOS like Yosemite, Sierra, Mavericks, Lion etc the process of formatting will be same as shown in the video.
