This is the beginner Python NumPy exercises #1 and in this video, we walk through comparison NumPy Array vs List in Python and a few examples of NumPy Arrays and Python Lists. This video follows the lecture ( • List vs Array Python - Complete Pytho... ) so I suggest you watch the lecture first, then try to do exercises on your own before watching this video for the solutions. All python notebooks and links to the lecture video are above.
We start with the native lists in python where I cover how to create python lists of different data types like integers and strings, before covering NumPy. We then learn how to create NumPy arrays using python lists, and briefly dive into creating multi-dimensional NumPy arrays. Lastly, I explain the differences between NumPy arrays and python lists, and the tradeoffs between them.
Let me know if you have any questions and please offer feedback on how I can improve to help you better.
