Here’s a mistake most people make in their interviews and how you can avoid it and especially when you’re applying for a job that offers visa sponsorship in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands or any other country, when the stakes are so high.

You want to hook your interviewer from the moment your interview starts
But when they start with the typical question of “Tell me about yourself” and you start off with your name, where you work and what you studied, you’re just repeating what’s already on your resume. Nope!

Instead, focus on 3 things you know are important to the recruiter. You’ll find this in your job description. And include that in your opening statement, to make you hook them in right at the beginning.
