Even if you know Material Design's guideline and how to solve issues in coding, pitching an accessibility improvement for your work application will not be as easy as a new shiny feature. Maybe before you even mention TalkBack, you might soon realize that many people have no idea what a screen reader is. You might actually become the de facto accessibility consultant in your team, even if you only have Android development experience.
To prepare you for this challenge, I will share in this session my experience raising the accessibility awareness in my company, catching up on information in other domains, preparing an action plan and writing a company guideline for mobile apps.
