A leak reveals that a patent was filed that may add the ability to use AI to turn photos into sims in CAS/ Create A Sim Mode. This upgrade could come for free to Sims 4, or with a launch of Sims 4. I'll react to the news and speculation and give you my honest opinion.
Of course, this won't change gameplay in the Sims 4, but I do think it would be a free base game update. While many are posting builds and taking on build challenges, the team may be hoping to inspire more time spent creating Sims. Who knows, maybe it will even inspire let's play series. Many feel Sims 4 packs are too expensive even on sale, so it's likely a free update will be welcome, whenever or if it comes. And without the ability to use the best cc or mods for Sims 4 on console, it may help players create sims too.
