Add MikroTik Device to Zabbix
Add Host:
Log in to your Zabbix web interface.
Navigate to Configuration -- Hosts.
Click Create host and fill out:
Host name: MikroTik Router Name
Visible name: Friendly name for the device (optional).
Groups: Select or create a group for MikroTik devices.
IP Address: Enter the MikroTik router's IP address.
Interfaces:
Choose SNMP or Agent, depending on your setup.
Set the port (default SNMP is 161, Zabbix Agent is 10050).
Configure SNMP (if using SNMP)
Go to the Templates tab.
Link a suitable MikroTik SNMP template
You can use the default Template Net SNMPv2 or SNMPv3 in Zabbix.
Alternatively, import a custom MikroTik-specific template (downloadable online).
Configure API Monitoring (Optional):
Go to the Templates tab.
Import or use a custom template designed for the MikroTik API.
Add your MikroTik API credentials (if applicable).
