From WAR to Football Fame: The Syrian Ibrahimovic
Omar Al Somah is one of, if not the greatest Arab striker in history. Last week, I, by chance, decided to work on his story. It could have been any other player - I was going to do Abdelrazzak Hamedallah actually.
And just yesterday, Bashar Al Assad's rule ended in Syria, which Omar Al Somah and his fellow Syrian players celebrated. Even this 15 minute video is not able to capture the very fine detail that is Omar Al Somah's storied career, which still continues until today.
