In this video I talk about the main branding issue that game engines have and that's the fact that they are still considered as game engines, although they are much more and much wider recent tears then they were before. Today we can use game engines in many different industries and areas which don't have to have any similarity with games themselves. We can use game engines for building apps, automation systems, digital twins, movies... Their real time rendering allows us to do many things faster and more efficient, while at the same time they provide us high end visual output.
What do you think about game engines and their usage out of the game industry?
Let me know in the comments about your experiences with game engines? What is your go to game engine?
