John Coltrane - "Giant Steps" playing on FM jazz station, and the sound was recorded with a microphone, placed about 12 inches away from the radio speaker. FM works very good for being in original 1948 electronics condition. AM tuner was recently restored to working condition. The 78 rpm turntable is not working at the moment. This was my grandparents radio they got new in 1948, and it is the model 84WG-2714G Montgomery Ward Airline console tube radio.
