The visit of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov to Turkey took place amid active negotiations on a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia. At a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan, the prospects for normalizing relations with Armenia and the possible signing of a peace agreement in November were discussed. However, despite the progress in the negotiations, the parties continue to exchange accusations. Bayramov's visit is also considered in the context of the influence of Russia and the United States on the conflict resolution process in the region.
