Hello everyone, long time no see.
I hope no one is mad it's been a while but I'm here again making videos.I have just implemented the idea of multiple viewtypes inside a recyclerview which is something I've wanted to share long time ago.( still working on the UI)
In this short series i will show you how to implement a recyclerview with multiple viewtype (viewholder)
as an example i will build a notification timeline that displays 3 basics kinds of views elements:
the first one is the header view : show the date of a group of post
second element is a text post : a simple post that contain a text and user image
video post : display a video view which is an image just for testing purpose (at least for now)
