This is a performance video of me playing 2112 Overture and Temples of Syrinx, by RUSH - from the 2112 album. I recorded the guitar in Cubase 10.5 while I recorded the video and initial audio on my Samsung S8+. After the guitar was recorded in Cubase, I mixed down the original song with my recorded guitar parts, and then I used Magix Video Pro X to edit the mixed down recorded guitar and original song with the video, replacing the audio on the video recording with the mix from Cubase. All the guitar sounds were created with Line 6 Pod Farm Studio, and the guitar sound changes such as the switch to a more aggressive sound during the lead solo were done with Cubase Automation so I didn't have to worry about any pedal switching. I just played along and let Cubase do the work.
I'll be 61 years old in June (2020) and I really don't play my guitar much anymore. But still, I love learning and playing Rush, so I'm sharing that with you.
