Backing up your photos is critically important and it needs to be a part of your photographic routine. In this video, I explain the back of concept of 3-2-1: Three hard backups of all your photos, two of those sources in two different places and 1 backup safe in the cloud.
With that in mind, I show you how to export folders (either individual folders or your ENTIRE library) as a catalog of all your image edits and hard copies of your photo files: this can now be easily backed up onto a disc or an external hard drive. We also explore APPLE'S Time Machine feature and I show how you can retrieve lost files with it. Finally, I point you towards www.backblaze.com, a backup service that I recommend for its ease of use, efficiency and ability to synchronize with your backup and protect EVERY file as it enters your computer!
