There are many different clothes on sale. But some women prefer to sew their own things with their own hands. Firstly, it’s cheaper, and secondly, you don’t have to waste precious time on tedious trips to stores, which often end in complete failure.
Even if you don’t have any special sewing skills, you can sew yourself a pretty decent thing, for example, a blouse, without resorting to complex patterns.
You just need to choose a beautiful fabric and take some measurements yourself.
I suggest sewing a summer blouse without darts.
You need to measure the length of the blouse and the width of the bottom.
My blouse length is 60 cm. The bottom of the blouse is 108 cm, I measured it with a measuring tape, just above the hips and threw it a little over the loose fit.
The fabric size for my blouse is 90x125 cm. If the bottom of your blouse is larger, then the top part needs to be increased. Where 90 cm is the fold of the fabric.
How to cut:
1) Roll the fabric along the length of the blouse (60 cm). Mark 90 cm along the fold at the top. Sleeve width is 20 cm.
2) Roll the fabric along the length of the blouse (60 cm). Mark 90 cm along the fold at the top. Sleeve width is 20 cm.
3) Marked the neckline - depth 20 cm, width 14 cm. The triangular neckline goes front and back. But at the back you can do it as usual, without deepening it.
4) The blouse is cut and at this stage you can try it on. To do this, you need to sweep the side seams.
5) If everything is fine, you can proceed to processing the neck. I cut out a whole facing for this.
6) I stitched it to the neckline and made cuts in the corners. I turned it inside out and sewed the edges. I sewed a finishing stitch on the front side.
7) Now I folded the fabric on the sleeves and stitched.
8) Next I connected the side seams.
9) All that remains is to hem the blouse.
10) All the work took only a couple of hours.
Fitting.
You still have doubts, it seems to you that sewing is difficult. Believe in yourself, dear women, and in your golden hands.
