Flight of Apollo Saturn V (archival film)
This film provides an overview of the early development of the Saturn V launch vehicle during the Apollo program of the 1960s. The 363-foot tall, three-stage launch vehicle produced as much power as 85 Hoover Dams.Together the five F-1 engines in the Saturn V first stage produced 7.5 million pounds of thrust. The vehicle weighed more than six million pounds at liftoff.
