Fox Stevenson, music production wizard and killer audio engineer talks what is sidechaining and how to use it. This goes way beyond audio basics, and intro-sidechaining. This will teach you how to sidechain everything (advanced sidechain), but especially how to use sidechain compression on kick and bass (absolutely key to mixing beats and getting loud clear mixes). You'll learn to get that pumping effect, more bass, and an overall better mix with Fox's 6 sidechaining tips. You can use this method in Ableton live, FL, or Logic, because it uses the plugin Volume Shaper (linked below).
