Determine if Matrix is Diagonalizable from Rank | Linear Algebra Exercises

We go over how to determine if a square matrix A is diagonalizable by finding the ranks of the matrices λI-A for each eigenvalue λ. Each rank will tell us the nullity, and hence the dimension of the corresponding eigenspace which allows us to count the linearly independent eigenvectors and determine the diagonalizability with ease. #linearalgebra
