Do You Have To Turn Compost to Get "Good" Results - Compost Trials
Many people think you have to turn compost piles to aerate them. While it is partially true, there are other options to aerated the pile such as passive aeration through vent pipes. In this video, I introduce an experiment which tests composting wording chips three different ways - actively aerated (turned), passively aerated (vented), and a control pile that is not aerated or turned.
