Internal components include items such as the motherboard, CPU, RAM, or hard drive. External components are items like the monitor, mouse, or keyboard.
Hardware works in conjunction with software, which is sets of intangible instructions, to make a computer work. Software tells the hardware what to do, then hardware makes it all happen.
