AutoCAD Tutorial - Using Associative Text
This video shows how to insert associative text fields into a drawing in Autocad. Text that is associative will take the information from the meta data of the the drawing properties and use it to fill a text field. The advantage of using associative text is that by changing the information in the drawing properties, you can update all of the data associated with that property that is displayed in the drawing. Associative fields are very useful for building title blocks in layouts.
