Sunita Williams Stuck in Space, SpaceX to Rescue | International News | India Today
India Today reports that astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore will remain at the International Space Station until February 2025 due to technical issues with Boeing's Starliner. Elon Musk's SpaceX has been tasked with their return. The mission, initially an 8-day trip, has extended to 8 months. NASA has confirmed that the ISS is sufficiently stocked with food and oxygen. SpaceX's Crew Dragon will retrieve the astronauts in September 2024 and return in February 2025.
