Guys, hello everyone!
Today's vlog is dedicated to a trip to St. Petersburg! Vitalik and I went on a bus tour to St. Petersburg. On the first day upon arrival in St. Petersburg, we had a sightseeing tour of the city. We saw St. Isaac's Cathedral, the Peter and Paul Fortress, the beautiful Church of the Savior on Blood, the Alexander Column, drove along the Anichkov Bridge, saw the Kazan Cathedral, drove near the spit of Vasilyevsky Island. When part of our group went to sail on the Neva River on a boat, we went to the Kunstkamera in the first Russian museum, which was founded by Peter the Great in 1714. In the afternoon we checked into a 3-star hotel "White Tree" with all amenities, and in the evening we went on an excursion to the city of St. Petersburg on our own. We drove along the St. Petersburg metro. We walked on Nevsky Prospekt, saw St. Petersburg at night. By the way, there are now White Nights in St. Petersburg. It looks very nice. We rode St. Petersburg trams, they are all different, some are modern and some are very old. We went to the famous cafe in St. Petersburg Sever-Metropol. On the way back to the hotel, we stopped to look at the St. Petersburg youth, who arranged a fire show in the middle of St. Petersburg.
On the second day in St. Petersburg we walked a lot. Walked around the entire Nevsky Prospekt. I was struck by the beauty of one building - the House of the Singer Company. It stood out for its beauty among other impressive buildings of St. Petersburg. We went to Piterskaya Pysheshchnaya, tried Piterskaya Pyshechnaya with coffee and condensed milk. We went to the Yandex Museum, where you can see a lot of old, working computers. We walked a lot on the Field of Mars, there is now an exhibition of paintings in honor of the 350th anniversary of Peter 1, which depicts his life. Then we went to Peter's Palace Square. The famous St. Petersburg Hermitage is also located there, as well as the Winter Palace, the Headquarters Building of the Guards Corps, the General Staff Building with its famous Triumphal Arch and the Alexander Column.
When we got hungry, we went to the St. Petersburg cafe, ate Neapolitan pizza and drank a glass of dry red wine.
In the evening we went with our group for an evening walk around St. Petersburg to look at drawbridges in St. Petersburg.
Bridges in St. Petersburg are being built so that ships can pass along the Neva. This is one of the famous places in St. Petersburg where many tourists gather.
On the final day of our trip in St. Petersburg, we went to Tsarskoe Selo in the city of Pushkin. We walked a lot around the Catherine Palace and Catherine's Park. Each hall of the Catherine Palace struck with its beauty. And I was especially surprised by the amber room in the Catherine Palace, which is made of amber. Door and window openings in the palace are decorated with gold leaf. Like many palaces and famous buildings in the city of St. Petersburg, the architect-builder of the Catherine Palace was Bartolomeo Francesco Rastrelli.
Then we went to Peterhof. This place amazes with the number of fountains. I haven't seen such beauty in a long time. Peterhof is called the capital of fountains. Peterhof was founded in the 18th century by the great Peter 1. Approaching the banks of the Neva, we were told that on one side you can see Finland in the distance, because. The Niva flows into the Gulf of Finland.
