This tip is great when you don't want your printed worksheets and data to be cluttered with charts everywhere. Charts can look great within Excel, especially in a kind of nice dashboard, but they can be a real pain for printing.

When you hide your charts for printing, it allows you to better arrange the data you have in cells that you want to look over or present to someone else.

When you hide a chart, you can still choose to print it if you click the chart that is hidden and go to print; this allows you to print just the seletect chart, otherwise it will not print.
