Milan Fashion Week's Spring 2025 season was a battle between the safety of "quiet luxury" and well crafted easy to understand commercial clothing, and the oddball experimentation that fashion customers rely on to keep themselves engaged in brand's storylines and their products. From narratives about the algorithm at Prada, to growing up at Bottega Veneta, to the way we have forgotten how our clothing is made at Diesel these brands lulled their customers through showmanship and experimentation. But on the other hand brands like Gucci & Fendi played to the safety of luxury clothing and it's need to provide a good rather than an experience.
