AZ's Doe Or Die was released on October 10, 1995. The album reached number one on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart, got to number 15 on the Billboard 200. The project also sold more than one million copies boosted by promotional singles - "Mo Money, Mo Murder," "Sugar Hill" and title track "Doe or Die." AZ and the album drew comparisons to Nas’ Illmatic which was released in ‘94…the question is: is it a Classic?
