How Unschooling Better Prepares Young People For Success | School vs. Unschool
We started unschooling b/c of the failures of traditional schooling. They lied to us saying that success in school is required to achieve success and happiness in life, but the traditional school system does not do a very good job in preparing young people to live adult lives of success, joy, peace, and love. On the flip side, unschooling focuses more to empower us with the ability to make choices, be creative, and find our true passions in life. We chose to unschool to equip our young people with opportunities to find lasting happiness. In this video, I explain the lie that we’ve blindly accepted as true. I compare the differences between traditional school vs. unschool. I explain how unschooling learners find what brings them joy and work harder toward the goals they set. Lastly, I explain the unschooling method and why our family chose to unschool our children to allow them to explore their interests, in their time, as a path toward success and happiness.
