How to get a WIDE VOCAL MIX by Layering Vocals
Today I'm going to walk you through how to get a wide vocal mix by layer vocals. We'll be mixing the background vocals to support the lead vocal. I created some vocal harmonies and mixed those with the lead to get a wider, thicker vocal sound.
This vocal layering tutorial will show you how to use plugins on your background vocals like delay and reverb to do things like make vocals sound far away, or make vocals sound warm. In general we'll be looking at some mixing techniques to try to make our vocals sound better.
