Kingbright broadens its optoelectronics portfolio with infrared emitters and phototransistors, and also with ambient light photo-sensors and RGB color-sensors. Their selection of infrared LEDs features emitters and phototransistors in the wavelength range from 850 nanometers to 940 nanometers at 20 milliamps or 50 milliamps, and with different lens options and viewing angles available from 20 degrees to 160 degrees. Various package types are available. The ambient light photo-sensor is adapted to respond to the human eye. Sensitive to visible spectrums, it is an effective power saving solution to display backlighting appliances. The RGB color sensor uses three silicon photodiodes with color filters, which makes it an ideal solution to color balance of display backlighting appliances.
