The DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) language in Power BI includes two functions called "VALUE" and "VALUES".
The "VALUE" function converts a text string that represents a number to a number. For example, if you have a column with text values like "100", "200", "300", etc., and you want to perform arithmetic operations on those values, you can use the "VALUE" function to convert them to numbers.
The "VALUES" function, on the other hand, returns a table that contains a list of distinct values from a specified column. This function is useful when you want to create a table that summarizes the distinct values in a column.
