It's not about simply getting your gun out of the holster quickly, or even about a quick presentation of the firearm. It is about efficient movement and finding your proper sight alignment and sight picture quickly and consistently. To accomplish this, in is important to avoid certain errors such as dipping the muzzle, a bowling or fishing type presentation, or 'throwing' the gun out too aggressively. Some of the students during this class had been long-time YouTube viewers who had learned a lot about shooting via the internet, but remarked during the class how "much they learned and were able to correct during a class that they would not have been able to learn over the internet." Train hard. Train smart.
