CVTs are the worst transmissions. They're soulless. CVTs are unreliable. CVTs sound awful. And all the other things people love to say about an innovative and increasingly popular transmission style. Are manual transmissions more fun? Absolutely. Are DCT transmissions faster than manuals, thus acceptable alternatives for high end sports cars? Debatable.
