Active Directory Domain Services
It is a Microsoft based service that provides a centralized database. The database is called NTDS.
Domain Module
The database of the domain module is NTDS. The NTDS stands for New Technology Directory Services.
It contains username and password details.
Location of NTDS database----C:\windows\NTDS\ntds.nit
Installation Prerequisites of ADDS
1. Minimal hardware specifications should be fine
2. Server operating system
3. Good network interconnection with an IP address
4. NTFS partition
5. Domain Name Space
