Stanford med student aspires to care for marginalized
Growing up in Cupertino, California, Jimmy Zheng saw the financial and cultural struggles of his parents, who had immigrated from China. That experience, coupled with his observations volunteering for a health clinic for the homeless, drove Jimmy to pursue a career in medicine at the Stanford University School of Medicine, with the goal of providing care for society's least fortunate.
