Michael Keaton ad-libbed one of the most famous lines in the film.During the graveyard scene after the maitlands leave, Beetlejuice kicks a tree, and it falls. Originally, it wasn’t supposed to fall, but on this take, Keaton kicks it, and it falls down. He then ad-libs, “Nice fucking model, honk honk.” While Keaton said this as a joke to the set designer, Burton loved it so much that he left it in.
