In this review, I cover the upgrades within the 4K Max’s new hardware, and the potential benefits with Wi-Fi 6. Like previous models, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max integrates with the Fire TV Recast.

And with the new Live TV button on the third-generation remote control, you can quickly access a combined menu of free local channels from over-the-air stations and streaming services such as Hulu+Live TV and Sling TV.

The speed of launching apps like Netflix and Disney+ and or just hopping around the menu is very noticeable -- especially if you have any experience using other Fire TV devices in the past.

The design of the Fire TV Stick 4K Max is the same as the previous generation that came out in 2018, and it includes an HDMI extender which makes it easier to attach to a television or computer monitor.
