Know Before You Go: Iceland!
⭐️ Drone laws are very lenient in this country so you can easily bring a drone without any hassle and fly almost anywhere. But keep in mind that some areas have drone restrictions so please follow the signages if present.
⭐️ Iceland is a cashless country and I forgot to carry any cash. But guess what, I didn’t even need cash anywhere. It’s good to have a few bucks in hand but you’ll barely need it. I used my @scotiabank 0% foreign transaction fee CC in this trip.
⭐️ DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT buy bottled water in Iceland because the tap water here is one of the cleanest water in the world and all you need is a reusable bottle
⭐️ A cheaper way to get to Reykjavik from the airport is using a Flybus. It’s a shared bus that can drop you either to the main BSI terminal or your hotel. Also, BSI terminal is where you can get buses to most places near Reykjavik
⭐️ I bought a local SIM card with 10GB data for $29 CAD which was way cheaper than paying $15 a day on international roaming. You can find them at any convenience stores in downtown Reykjavik.
