Shrapnel shell vs Armor Simulation | T-34 vs Pz IV
Simulation of a Shrapnel shell against the side armor of a PzKpfw IV tank (30mm RHA).
The projectile is based` on the 76mm Sh-354 projectile. 6.2kg projectile with 0.1 kg explosive, filled with 10.7g lead spheres.
Projectile impact velocity - 620m/s. 680m/s - muzzle velocity for T-34 gun.
The material properties of some parts of the projectile are not certain (explosive, shell). In addition, a few spheres are missing, because I was not able to position them so that they do not overlap, I had to do it manually.
