WoW Pet Battles | How to Beat Vinu
Today's WoW guide will show you how to beat the Vinu pet battle world quest located in Azsuna.
To win the Vinu encounter, I'm going against the tradition of "Aquatic beats Elemental" and just cheesing the fight. With life exchange. There's so much blocking and missing going on that you'll generally lose if you try a blow up strat revolving around howl or other debuffs.
Recommended Battle Pets
1. Sprite Darter Hatchling - Arcane Blast, Life Exchange, Moonfire.
We're going to take a big hit from Vinu's dive, and then use life exchange to bring him down to about half. There are a ton of different pets that can get him low, but this is the most consistent and does so in the fewest turns. I've experimented with the Azure Crane Chick, since that's the only flying pet that does aquatic damage, and it's just...not enough healing.

2. Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling - Breath, Thunderbolt, Decoy
You're not going to go too wrong in this pet battle with just using decoy on cooldown, but it's better if you save it for the big hits from dive and barrel toss. Then just spam breath. Use Thunderbolt whenever he's underground with dive or if he's less than 100 health from dying, to sneak a little damage in on the backline. Doesn't matter much but it saves you a turn over the course of the fight.
3. Doesn't matter. Once you kill Vinu, the other two pets are laughable. Just pick your favorite strong battle pet and blow em up.
